Summary:
 If you search diligently on the open web you can find good credible sources for your research the trick is to use your skills of reason, we probably have used A.S.P.E.C.T or something to that effect without knowing it because we use reasoning we have learned over the course of our lives to help decipher the credibility or a source.  I use this when I am doing research and have been using it for a number of years, this class however has helped me fine tune these skills. I found it relatively easy to locate the type of sites I wanted to use in my research

  1. Hi, Erica;

    Well done. It sounds like you are a critical consumer of online information, a valuable skill for life. You selected credible online sources and evaluated using ASPECT. There is great information on the open web, you just have to dig and evaluate as you go. Hopefully, this class also provided evidence that using the library databases is a time saving tool for finding academic credible articles and information.

    Cheers,
    Andrea
